Meek Mill Tells DJ Akademiks To Stop Posting Him on His Instagram After Showing Throwback Interview of Meek Saying Akademiks Doesn’t Post His Albums [VIDEO]

DJ Akademiks has always been a controversial figure in hip-hop media as many artists have taken issue with him. The latest is Meek Mill, who is now telling him to stop posting him on his social media accounts. This came after Akademiks posted a throwback video of Meek on Power 99 in Philly discussing bloggers who don’t know the culture and that’s where Akademiks’ name came up.

Akademiks’ IG caption was “#MeekMill with a message” and that’s where the Philly rapper replied saying “Stop posting me on this page.” Akademiks soon addressed the comment by saying how this stems from him not posting Meek’s album, according to the interview that Meek did on Power 99. At this point, he’s all good with not posting any content about Meek anymore.

“Well today he asked that I stopped posting him. And I’ll gladly oblige … I don’t need no artist who don’t wanna be on platform. ✌️there will no more meek mill posts after this on my platform. Too many other lit rappers for me to cover ✊🏿✊🏿”

Meek has also been seeing success with his new song, “Other Side of America,” which came in the middle of the ongoing protests in America which address racism and police brutality. He also recently beefed with Tekashi 6ix9ine after calling 6ix9ine a snitch, something that many more rappers believe as well.
