Meek Mill to release “Amen” as lead single from “Dreams & Nightmares”

This summer, Meek Mill will make the official transition from mixtape rapper to the mainstream. Through his mixtapes and the annual Maybach Music albums, Meek Mill has become one of the biggest rappers in the game. The only thing Meek Mill lacked thus far was a debut album.

At the start of each year, Rick Ross sits down and does an interview. During these interviews, he reveals his agenda for the year. Rick Ross revealed 2012 would include another Maybach Music album, more signings, and Meek Mill’s debut album. The album was revealed to be titled Dreams & Nightmares.

Last month, Maybach Music Group held a press conference. During this press conference, the release date of August 28 was revealed for Dreams & Nightmares. In less than a week, Meek Mill released his long-awaited mixtape, Dreamchasers 2. The project featured a number of popular tracks, with the “Amen” track becoming an immediate success. “Amen” was recently re-released, as the mastered version hit the internet.

Now, it has been revealed “Amen” will serve as the official lead single to Dreams & Nightmares.
