Megan Thee Stallion and Young Thug reach platinum eligibility, with “Don’t Stop” collab

Megan Thee Stallion and Young Thug’s “Don’t Stop” goes platinum

Megan Thee Stallion continues to be one of the biggest rappers in the game, but has remained low key in 2022, regarding music releases. The H-Town Hottie did release a banger in April though, with her “Plan B” single. Megan initially performed that record a week before its release, during her performance at Coachella.

However, Megan continues to accumulate platinum records, for her older hits. This now includes “Don’t Stop,” featuring Young Thug. This was released back in the fall of 2020, and has now reached platinum status in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over a million units.

Megan also helped fans, with the release of Don’t Stop. She started two Don’t Stop scholarships, which awarded two women of color, worldwide. These were for $10,000, each.

Don’t Stop went on to appear on Megan’s November 2020 debut studio album, “Good News.” That debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart. It is also platinum in the US. Fans also hope that Megan will release her sophomore album at some point, in 2022. At the moment though, a title and release date hasn’t been revealed.

Thug is also still incarcerated, after a 56-count indictment against him, Gunna, and their YSL crew. This comes after scoring two number one albums, over the past year.
