Megan Thee Stallion breaks down crying, during #GRAMMYs acceptance speech, accepting award for “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé, winning Best Rap Performance

Late, in 2018, Megan Thee Stallion began making noise. At the time, she was a local Houston rapper, who was becoming known on the mixtape level. Following this, her music began getting radio play, in 2019.

When the summer of 2019 came, Megan Thee Stallion became one of the biggest names in music. By 2020, she had number one hits with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. But, she has established herself as the top female in rap.

Megan Thee Stallion scored a hit, with “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé, early last year. The song has won her a Grammy, for Best Rap Performance. During her acceptance speech, she broke down, crying.
