Megan Thee Stallion Doesn’t Believe GRAMMYs Are Rigged; Shows Love To The Weeknd After He Wasn’t Nominated at All [VIDEO]

Last night at the 63rd annual GRAMMYs in Los Angeles, Megan Thee Stallion dominated. She won three out the four awards she was nominated four. Those were for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song. The song that won big for Megan was her “Savage” remix featuring Beyoncé.

After the awards show, TMZ went on to catch up with the H-Town hottie to discuss the GRAMMYs. She was asked if there’s anything rigged about the voting process. Megan doesn’t feel that this is the case at all, even with The Weeknd shockingly not being nominated at all. At the same time though, she gave Weeknd his recognition.

“I didn’t know shit. The Grammys ain’t rigged. Bitch, you win some, you lose some. We love The Weeknd. We stan.”

Of course, the nominations were revealed back in late November and everyone remembers when Weeknd called the GRAMMYs “corrupt.” He added the he and his fans deserved transparency. Earlier this month, Weeknd told the New York Times that he’s still boycotting the awards show as he believes that they have “secret committees.”

The Weeknd had a No. 1  album in 2020 with his fourth studio album, “After Hours.” The Toronto native also had two No. 1 singles in “Blinding Lights” and “Heartless.” As for Megan, she had a No. 2 project with her debut studio album, “Good News,” in 2020.
