Megan Thee Stallion earns her first number one solo single on Billboard Hot 100 with “Hiss”

Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Hiss” single debuts at number one in US

A few weeks ago, Megan Thee Stallion released her highly anticipated first single of 2024. This was “Hiss,” as she initially previewed this record on social media. As a result, Hiss dominated on sodial media, especially after Megan subliminally called out Drake and Nicki Minaj here, for previous comments.

Furthermore, heading into this week, it was expected that Megan’s Hiss would debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Therefore, that is now the case. Moreover, it’s also Megan’s first number one solo single. Megan’s previous number ones were her “Savage” remix featuring Beyoncé in 2020, as well as her being featured on Cardi B’s “WAP” single, that same year.

Megan also joints a list of female rappers with the most number one hits in Hot 100 history. She has three in total, next to Cardi B’s five, and Nicki Minaj’s three, per Chart Data.

This latest number one debut for Megan also comes as she recently revealed on “Good Morning America,” that she’s releasing a new album in the summer. At that time, she will also venture on her first headlining tour.
