Last year, Megan Thee Stallion began making national moves. The groundwork was laid for her to become the household name that she has since grown into. A year where the stars were set, Meg came in and disrupted all of that.
Megan Thee Stallion isn’t the one who coined the “Hot Girl” phrase, but she brought it back to life. Proclaiming 2019 as a “Hot Girl Summer,” it caught more traction, when City Girls began using it. This morning, the internet dragged Ayesha Curry for citing them as the creator of it.
Taking it all in stride, Megan Thee Stallion let Ayesha Curry know. But, she was cool about it, and then shared a lesson. On Instagram, Meg let it be known exactly what a “Hot Girl” is.
