The annual Global Citizen Festival in New York City is scheduled to take place once again, this fall. This will be on September 23, right inside Manhattan’s Central Park’s Great Lawn. The goal of Global Citizen is to call on world leaders to end extreme poverty. Furthermore, the official lineup for its 2023 festival has also just been revealed.

As a result, Megan Thee Stallion, Lauryn Hill, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Conan Gray, and Stray Kids will all be hitting the stage. This is a free ticketed event for the public again. Additional headlining topics for Global Citizen include extreme poverty, including the impacts of climate change on the Global South, the inequities affecting women and girls around the world, and the global hunger crisis, and will call on governments to protect and defend advocates everywhere.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion has definitely been a major festival artist, in 2023. She performed at the NCAA March Madness Music Festival in her hometown of Houston, Pride In The Park Festival in Los Angeles, as well as Essence Festival in New Orleans. Lauryn Hill was also part of the exciting lineup at Essence Fest.
