Over the last three years, Megan Thee Stallion has been very open about discussing mental health and why it’s so important to be. a priority. On Monday night, the Houston rapper also went on to tease an announcement regarding a mental health initiate, after she posting a video where she revealed that people have also told her to be strong.
Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion has just revealed that she’s partnered up with Seize The Awkward for a mental health campaign. Furthermore, in her Instagram caption, she emphasized that it’s okay to not be okay, and to check on friends who may be going through certain situations. “I’ve always been told I gotta be strong,” said Meg in the ad with Seize The Awkward. “Thick-skinned, stiff upper lip, tough as nails. But to be everything for everybody, it wears on you. ‘Black don’t crack,’ they say. But it can. I can. We all can.”
Moreover, this announcement comes after Megan appeared on Cardi B’s new “Bongos” single, this month. This is the second collaboration between the two, since 2020, as the last one was Cardi’s Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “WAP.” Bongos went on to see a number 14 debut.
