Megan Thee Stallion is currently recovering from suffering from a shooting that took place a few weeks ago in Hollywood Hills as social media continued to support her heavily. Despite this challenging situation, the Houston rapper has had another huge year musically as she released her ‘Suga’ EP which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and contained the smash hit single, “Savage.”
Megan’s Savage remix featuring Beyoncé ended up being the No. 1 song in the country. She is also experiencing success with her new “Girls In The Hood” single as it sampled Eazy-E’s classic “Boyz-n-the-Hood” record. As fans await her debut studio album, previous projects continue to be in heavy rotation. One of them is her ‘Fever’ mixtape from May of 2019.
Fever contained hits such as “Cash S*it” feat. DaBaby and “Realer.” According to Chart Data, this project has now been certified gold by the RIAA in the US. This is after it sold 500,000 units. Fever did very well on the charts as well as it reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200.
