This included a partnership with Snapchat to bring a series to the app which features her and other popular dog moms. More plaques are also on the way for the Houston superstar as the latest is for a 2019 smash hit single.A
According to Chart Data, Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer” single, featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, is now 2x platinum in the US. This is after selling 2 million units. This record was released in August of that year and debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The music video on YouTube also currently has almost 101 million views.
2019 was also the breakout year for Megan as she turned into a star that February. Since then, it’s only been up for her. Two months ago, Megan was nominated for four GRAMMYs as she took home three out of these four awards. They were for Best New Artist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. She almost won Best Record as well but that went to Billie Eilish’s “Everything I Wanted.”
