Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Good News’ Becomes Best-Selling Female Debut Album Released in 2020 in Total Unit Sales

Megan Thee Stallion definitely has a case in being one of the hottest rappers of 2020. She had a top 10 project in March with her ‘Suga’ EP which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, the hit single “Savage” appeared on it, and the remix feat. Beyonce was a No. 1 record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She was also featured on the No. 1 single “WAP” by Cardi B in August.

Megan went on to finally put out her debut studio album, ‘Good News,’ in November as well. This had a No. 2 debut and was led by hits such as Savage remix, “Girls In The Hood,” “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug, and recently, “Body.” Now, the album has another huge accomplishment its achieved.

According to Chart Data, Good News is the best is the selling female debut album released in 2020 by total US unit sales. In addition to the album’s current hits, another one that immediately caught people’s attention was “Shots Fired,” which served as the intro as Megan dissed Tory Lanez and her ex-best friend, Kelsey Nicole. This record also sampled The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya?
