Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” on track for number one debut in US
Last week, Megan Thee Stallion had social media on fire, following the release of her new “Hiss” single. There, she went viral for subliminally dissing Drake and Nicki Minaj, which was as a result of the two name-dropping her in 2022. Furthermore, Nicki has since been ranting constantly against Megan on Twitter/X, since Hiss’ release. On Sunday, Nicki even dropped her own diss record, “Big Foot.”
Meanwhile, Megan’s Hiss single is about to have a massive first week on the charts. According to Chart Data, it’s on track to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Therefore, Hiss would also become Meg’s first solo number one hit.
Moreover, Hiss is also Megan’s second single since November. At the time, she put out her “Cobra” single. She opened up about her mental health on that record, and even subliminally revealed that her ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine cheated on her, by sleeping with another woman in her bed. This immediately caused fans of Meg to rally behind her, and call out Pardi for his actions.
