Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Suga’ EP Officially Goes Gold in The Midst of Addressing People Like Draya For Making Jokes About Her Getting Shot in The Foot
Megan Thee Stallion has been making some huge July headlines for herself as she was shot multiple times after a Hollywood Hills house party a few weeks ago. The suspected has been reported to be Tory Lanez as he has been extremely quiet on social media since the incident.
Megan initially addressed the incident by saying how traumatizing it was, she is recovering and looking forward to be able to make music again. On Wednesday, she subliminally went off on Draya on Twitter by calling her a “dumb b*tch” due to her saying the shooting was a “Bobby and Whitney” moment and she’d like for her man to do that too if she tried to leave a car that they were in. Megan was also angry at the men who have been cracking jokes on social media as well.
In the midst of the drama, Megan has still had a very great 2020, musically. Her ‘Suga‘ EP which was released back in March has now been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after 500,000 units were sold. The first single was “B.I.T.C.H.” in Jauary as it sampled 2Pac’s 1996 “Ratha Be Ya N*gga” record from his ‘All Eyez On Me‘ album. Then, the “Savage” single was released and that was a smash hit all over social media. A young lady named Keara Wilson even started a dance for it that Megan and other celebrities participated in as well. The remix featured BeyoncĂ© at the end of April and became the No. 1 song on the Billboard 200 chart.
