Meghan James, formerly of "Basketball Wives," shared a horrifying story, in an Instagram video. She revealed she was attacked by her Lyft driver. Left without a ride, she was picked up by @courtneymanatee's family, whom she thanked, meanwhile she shared Sergio's info on her IG profile.There are a disturbing, increasing amount of news stories showing women being victimized by ride-sharing. The situation is becoming so bad that movies are being made about it. Sadly enough, this is real life, and it appears as if women are being targeted.

Not just everyday women are being attacked, even the famous ones are running into dangerous situations. Recently, Meghan James, best-known for “Basketball Wives LA,” was attacked. However, she decided to not be a victim, using her platform to raise awareness.

Meghan James immediately took to Instagram to detail her horrific experience with Lyft. Her driver, Sergio, attacked her, and then left her on the 405, where a woman named Courtney Manatee, and her family, came to her rescue. When the LAPD refused to file a police report, Meghan exposed the whole situation on IG.
