Memphis police beat another Black man while arresting him

Currently, there is outrage in the city of Memphis. Last week, Tyre Nichols was the fatal victim of police brutality. His brutal passing sparked all kinds of commentary and outrage. In actuality, what happened to Nichols is happening all around the nation. If people could come together, true change could take place. While Memphis is still going through it, more officers from the city’s force have brutalized another Black man, during an arrest.

Tyre Nichols is currently making international headlines. The facts are that Nichols was on his way home, after being out taking photography photos of the sunset. Unfortunately, he encountered the police before he could make it home. As a result, their brutality left Nichols lifeless on the ground. Despite justice being served to those officers, people are protesting. Their protests are demanding true reform of how the cops handle situations like these.

While Memphis’ streets are still covered in protests, the police did this. In this video circulating on Twitter, there is an unnamed Black man, who was attacked by the cops. The video clip begins with the officers already on top of him. Like the Tyre Nichols situation, this young man was also attacked by Black police officers. Fortunately, the main difference is that this young man survived the attack, and was placed into the backseat of the squad car.
