Police reveal alleged car used after shooting of Yo Gotti’s brother

On Saturday, tragic news came out of Memphis, as Yo Gotti’s brother Anthony “Big Jook” Mims was shot and killed after attending his uncle’s funeral. Shots were initially fired outside of Perignons Restaurant & Event Center,  around 4:15 p.m CT. As a result, Mims was pronounced dead when he arrived at St. Francis Hospital. Another victim was at Regional One Health, in critical condition. Moreover, no arrests had been made in the aftermath of the shooting, nor a motive. However, many speculated that this could’ve been possible retaliation for rival Young Dolph’s dead, in November 2021.

Meanwhile, Memphis Police have now revealed what is reported to be the getaway car used, in the shooting of Big Jook. According to Fox 13 Memphis, this vehicle is a white Ford Explorer. Additionally, it contains no license plate, dark-tinted windows, and as well as black wheels. Furthermore, Memphis Police believe that Mims was targeted in this incident, and wasn’t accidental.

As of now, Yo Gotti has yet to publicly speak on his brother’s passing. Understandably, he is dealing with the grieving process. Big Jook worked with Gotti’s CMG record label, and promoted their artists, such as GloRilla, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and more.
