Metro Boomin says joint album with Lil Durk is coming

Metro Boomin has been one of the most dominant producers, for over a decade now. He’s worked with superstars such as Future, Travis Scott, Migos, and more. Now, he is preparing a joint album with another one of the biggest names in the industry.

A fan recently asked Metro on Twitter, if Metro will ever put out his rumored joint album with Lil Durk. Metro confirmed that this is still the plan, as he spoke with Durk about this “the other day.” Durk went on to like and comment on DJ Akademiks’ Instagram post about this upcoming album, as he said “Nobody Safe.”

The last time that Metro released a joint album, was with 21 Savage in October 2020, with their “Savage Mode II” album. In November 2018, Metro also released a joint album with Migos rapper Takeoff, which was “Not All Heroes Wear Capes.

Durk is also on fire right now, as his “7220” album is about to be the number one album in the US. That project is led by hit singles such as “Ahh Ha,” “Pissed Me Off,” and “Broadway Girls,” ft. Morgan Wallen.
