Last week, Metro Boomin released his highly anticipated sophomore album, “Heroes & Villains.” This project contained 15 songs, along with star-studded features from Travis Scott, Young Thug, Gunna, Takeoff, A$AP Rocky, and more. It’s already being projected to debut at number one in the US. This would be Metro’s second straight number one album, as he did so with “Savage Mode II” with 21 Savage, in 2020.
Metro is also giving back to single mothers, in honor of his late mother. The star producer gifted tickets to 26 mothers, for the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Atlanta Falcons game, on Sunday afternoon.
Metro was able to get these women to walk through the tunnel of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as well as gifting them on-field access. In addition to these, they were also able to stand next to Atlanta Falcons players, during the National Anthem. Metro did not attend this game, as he reportedly wanted all of the focus to be on these women. Metro was also in his hometown of St. Louis, for an in-store album CD signing.
This initiative was done through Metro’s “Single Moms Are Superheroes.” This is in partnership with the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. This initiative helps women overcome obstacles that they deal with, as single mothers.
