Metro Boomin launches Metroverse comic book

A mega producer is telling his story through the power of books. Now that the smoke is clear, Metro Boomin is taking this opportunity to show off more of his creative side. Recently he announced the launch of his new comic book series “The Metroverse” this week. Detailing Metro’s musical journey, the “Metroverse” combines his personal life with his love for superhero’s.

Metro Boomin started off 2024 with a major bang following his collaboration with Future on the album We Dont Trust You. That album included the top Billboard hit “Like That”, featuring Kendrick Lamar, which was a diss to Drake. He followed up with another album “We Still Don’t Trust You” less than a month later. In April, Metro teased that Savage Mode III with 21 Savage was in the works as well.

Although Metro’s recent releases are more hardcore, his previous works have always highlighted his love for superhero’s. His previous studio albums Not All Heros Wear Capes and Heroes and Villains both hinted at his superhero passion. Metro also produced the blockbuster and chart-topping soundtrack for Spider-Man : Across the Spider-Verse last June. The Metroverse’s first edition titled “Metro Boomin The Rise #1” is set to go on sale this Friday. Fans have the option to order a signed or unsigned copy of the comic.
