Metro Boomin performs at Billboard’s R&B Hip-Hop Live in LA

On Tuesday night, Metro Boomin continued his impressive run in 2023, in Los Angeles. He performed at the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Live event, inside of The Novo. This was held in celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, as well as the 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players list.

Furthermore, Metro performed various hits of his, and even brought out Offset and Nav. In addition to these three, Coi Leray and Armani White also served as opening acts.

Meanwhile, over the past year, Metro has scored plenty of historic wins for himself. This includes his third studio album “Heroes & Villains” debuting atop the Billboard 200 chart, in December. As a result, that became his third consecutive overall number one album. That project contained collaborations with Future, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, and much more. At the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop event in LA, Metro was also gifted a plaque for that number one milestone. iIn June, the producer also executive produced the “Spider-Man: Across The Spider Verse” soundtrack. There, Metro worked with A$AP Rocky, Future, Coi Leray, Wizkid, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, and much more.
