Metro Boomin teases joint album with Future again
All year long, Metro Boomin has been teasing that a new joint album with Future is on the way. However, no official title or release date has gone on to be revealed yet.
Meanwhile, Metro is teasing this joint album with Future on social media, yet again. On Friday he took to Twitter/X to show off a photo with Future, while in the studio. Moreover, the producer decided to troll fans with the wait on the album again, as his caption read “METro drOp tHe fUtuRE ALBUM.”
Furthermore Metro and Future have yet to even release a lead single for this joint album. This comes as Metro and Future have created plenty of hit records together, over the past decade.
Metro has had a huge past year, as he released sophomore album, “Heroes & Villains,” in December 2022. That project contained 15 songs, including plenty of star-studded collaborations with Future, Chris Brown, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and much more. As a result, Heroes & Villains went on to become Metro’s second straight number one album. This past summer, he also executive produced the “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” soundtrack, which contained collaborations with Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne A$AP Rocky, Coi Leray, Offset, 21 Savage, and more.
