Metro Boomin Teases Release of “Monster 2” Mixtape With Future

Metro Boomin and Future have definitely been one of the best producer/rapper duos over the past decade. Many remember when they dropped off their iconic “Monster” mixtape, back in 2014, as Metro was part of the production. That project contained 16 tracks, and including hits such as “Codeine Crazy” and “F*ck Up Some Commas.” Future also collaborated with Lil Wayne on “After That.

There has been speculation for three years now about when a Monster sequel will finally be released. Metro and Future have teased this release several times, but no official release date has ever been finalized to date.

Now, it looks like Monster 2 could finally be on its way. On Tuesday, Metro shared photos, on Twitter, of photos of himself in the studio with 21 Savage, and also, a separate photo of Future. Fans in his mentions soon got ecstatic, due to the speculation of Monster 2 possibly arriving soon.
