Michael Irvin brought much-needed attention to “Undisputed,” upon Shannon Sharpe’s exit. As a parent, Irvin expressed frustration with his son. Apparently, his son is getting into the rap game. There are a lot of people doing that. For decades, rappers have been notorious for exaggerating about their lifestyles in their rhymes. Only one rapper, Tut Tarantino, had his father expose his lies on national television and the father is Michael Irvin, who did this on “Undisputed.”
Michael Irvin is a retired NFL player, who has spent his post-retirement working as an analyst. When he was playing, Irvin spent his entire career with the Dallas Cowboys. In the years since, he has worked with such networks as ESPN, where he has offered commentary. Lately, he has been working on FS1, where he provides commentary on “Undisputed.” With Shannon Sharpe leaving the series, Michael Irvin gave the show a much-needed boost.
Michael Irvin was on “Undisputed,” this week, discussing Deion Sanders. For some reason, the conversation took a shift. Suddenly, Michael Irvin was venting about his son in the middle of his commentary. Somehow, the conversation ended up taking on Irvin’s son, who is rapping. Apparently, there is no issue between Irvin and his son about rapping. However, Irvin said his son was making up his lifestyle, asking why he lies when he grew up in a gated community.
