Every move Jay-Z makes is a win for hip hop, because it pushes the culture forward. Hip hop is at the heart of Jay-Z’s business ventures and it always plays a big role in his businesses. This is something Jay-Z addressed on “The Breakfast Club,” back in 2013.
In 2013, Jay-Z opened up Roc Nation to sports management and took on superstar, Kevin Durant, as their first client. Other clients include Robinson Cano, among others. Now, Jay-Z is venturing out into the fighting world.
One of the biggest fighters in the industry is Miguel Cotto and he is preparing for a big year in 2015. The year is still young and Miguel Cotto has joined a new company. A big win for hip hop and a big win for Roc Nation Sports is Miguel Cotto joining forces with the company.
