Three years ago, Miguel made his return to the game and he hit the game very hard. Late in the summer of 2012, Miguel delivered “Adorn” and the song is a modern classic. He later made a smash in 2013 with the follow-up, “How Many Drinks,” a song that still bangs.
Miguel had a lot of success, but he kept a low profile following his 2012-2013 run. This period of time also saw him reunite with J. Cole for his 2013 summer hit, “Power Trip,” another modern classic. But, Miguel has kept a low profile since then only returning recently.
“The Breakfast Club” caught up with Miguel when he visited them this morning. Charlamagne Tha God introduced the Miguel vs. Chris Brown argument in terms of which is the better artist. As the interview went on, Miguel spoke to the rest of the trio (Angela Yee, DJ Envy) about the song, “Coffee,” with Wale, why he took so much time off, and his goals forĀ Wild Heart, his new album.
