As if the promo featuring Queen Latifah and Taraji P. Henson isn’t enough, there is a lot to be excited about, this fall. Lee Daniels is the mastermind behind all of it. His series, “Empire,” starring Henson, alongside Terrence Howard, was moved up to 8 pm.
Meanwhile, “Star,” his newest series, has taken over the 9 pm slot. The series stars Jude DeMorest, Brittany O’Grady, and Ryan Destiny. In supporting roles, there’s Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Lenny Kravitz, Naomi Campbell, and Tyrese.
Season two adds Mike Epps to this frenzy, playing some kind of record executive, according to the promo. This season is going to have plenty more drama, as there will now be a full “Star” season. Tune into “Star,” as it will air at 9 pm, on September 27.
