Back in the 2000s, Houston was one of the hottest cities in hip-hop. The major southern market saw artists such as Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Bun B, Lil Flip, Chamillionaire and Trae The Truth soar to stardom. Moreover, one of the biggest records out of Houston in that decade became Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin.”

Still Tippin initially appeared on Mike Jones’ debut studio album “Who Is Mike Jones?,” in 2005. Furthermore, it also contained two huge features from Slim Thug and Paul Wall. As a result it peaked at number 60 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is platinum in the US.

Meanwhile, Mike Jones, Paul Wall and Slim Thug went on to attend the Houston Texans playoff game together, on Saturday. They were treated to a huge 45-14 win over the Cleveland Browns, and also performed at halftime of the game. In a viral video while on the field inside NRG Stadium, Paul Wall added that a “Still Tippin” Tour is also on the way. That came as he was showing off a Texans jersey that Mike Jones was wearing, which had that song title on the back of his jersey.
