Another person that has to be admired is Mike WiLL Made It, as he has crafted the current Atlanta sound. Like many others, Mike WiLL rose from the Atlanta mixtape scene. In 2011, he broke through, as many rappers he produced for gained fame.
Mike WiLL would see his own breakthrough come in 2012 and, soon, he had his own deal with Interscope Records. Introducing EarDrummers, his new label, Mike WiLL signed Rae Sremmurd. Since 2014, they have been one of the hottest groups out, all in five years for Mike WiLL.
Recently, Mike WiLL Made It stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles. He would speak to the LA Leakers, where he addressed a series of questions about his ongoing work. The discussion saw him touch on Big Sean passing on one of his beats, to him also confirming the record Drake and Trouble have coming.
