One major reason Atlanta deserves a lot of the credit it’s getting is because the city has shaped the sound of hip hop 2011 to the present. Without argument, Mike WiLL Made It is the biggest producer in the game. He produced Meek Mill’s “Tupac Back” and then he started producing for Miley Cyrus and Jay-Z this year.
There is no denying the Mike WiLL sound and his work has helped rejuvenate the career of Juicy J. Few people can honestly say they haven’t at least nodded their heads to Juicy J’s new records and Rihanna too for that matter. Many of Mike WiLL’s songs become hits after they appear on his mixtapes.
Since 2011, Mike WiLL Made It has dropped several mixtapes. His latest mixtape is a collaboration with the clothing brand, Been Trill, titled #MikeWiLLBeenTrill. This mixtape will include “23” with Miley Cyrus, Juicy J, and Wiz Khalifa and also Jay-Z, Project Pat, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Future, Jeezy, Migos, Ciara, and ScHoolboy Q.
