Yesterday, Beyonce continued her support of H-town, her hometown, the city of Houston. In 2019, Megan Thee Stallion was the biggest artist of the year. There was no question about it, Meg owned the year, so to kick 2020 off, Beyonce and Blue Ivy took a silly picture with her.
Nearly eight years old, most fans simply commented on how Blue Ivy looks much older. However, there was a Vanity Fair writer, who said he believed she was growing into her Jay-Z looks. No offense towards anyone, but that was perceived to be an insult to Jay and Blue Ivy.
On top of that, Harpers’ editor added her two cents on it. This was something that Mikki Kendall wasn’t going to let slide. Reminding these two adults that they were talking about a child, she took them to task over their mean and insensitive comments about a seven year old. The VF writer later offered an apology.
