During the massive expansion of Cash Money Records, Young Money took over the game. This period saw Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj run the whole rap world. There was also a time when Tyga was making a huge impact.

While Cash Money expanded by signing DJ Khaled’s We The Best label, mainly for Ace Hood, Lil Wayne added Chanel West Coast. Known for being on MTV2’s “Ridiculousness,” Chanel West Coast brought in the pop audience. But, that was about it for the entertainment.

Since the Lil Wayne/Cash Money/Birdman beef, Young Money remains in flux, with Tyga jumping ship and joining G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam with Pusha T and Big Sean. Meanwhile, Chanel West Coast is still doing the MTV2 gig. But, new photos she put on her Instagram have some questioning what happened, as her body has gotten a little thicker in the booty area.
