Missy Elliott Becomes First Female Rapper Nominated For Songwriters Hall Of Fame [PHOTO]

The iconic female rapper will soon be honored!

Missy Misdemeanor Elliott, legendary rapper has been in the music industry for over two decades.She is known fir her iconic hits such as “Work It”, and “Gossip Folks”. She has produced numerous of hit records and directed videos, for various artist including herself.

Missy Elliott is the first-ever female rapper to be nominated into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.The 47 year-old rapper has wrote songs for music artist like Ciara, Janet Jackson, and the late singers Whitney Houston and Aaliyah. Once Missy is inducted, She would become the third rapper accepted into the organization if inducted, she will be joining Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri.
