Mitchell Trubisky’s third year as an NFL quarterback hasn’t been that great so far. At 6-6, the Chicago Bears with Trubisky at the helm has seen more Sundays with subpar performances. He’s been benched, injured, and over all ridiculed. So one would think that the Dallas Cowboys would use this Thursday Night game against the Bears to save what’s left of their season and keep their playoff hopes alive. However in a surprising turn of events, Trubisky has been having a night against the Cowboys.
With 4 touchdowns, including a ballsy touchdown run, Trubisky has been looking like Lamar Jackson on this Thursday Night game. While Chicago fans are delighted to see their QB actually playing well, the bigger story trending online is how trash Jason Garrett and the Cowboys are playing that the subpar Mitchell Trubisky is looking like a god against them. Cowboy fans along with Cowboy haters are absolutely clowning the defense for how horrible they’ve been playing against Mitchell Trubisky. I can’t say they’re wrong for roasting them, because I’m just as confused and entertained by dumpster fire performance they’ve put out tonight.
