Had there not been the Trayvon Martin murder, the #BlackLivesMatter movement would not be as strong as it is. But, there are groups of people who refuse to see these things as murder. Some believe there is nothing wrong with George Zimmerman walking around free.

Since the death of Trayvon Martin, countless men of color have died at the hands of the police. Meanwhile, only a few officers have been punished, aside from a paid leave of absence. Even fewer have actually been prosecuted and found guilty.

In sports, athletes, namely Colin Kaepernick, have done their part to bring awareness, only to be portrayed as villains, themselves. But, not all athletes are down with the cause. Los Angeles Lakers’ player, Mo Wagner, is on the side of George Zimmerman, liking a tweet that said Trayvon Martin presented a threat to him.
