Last spring, Mobb Deep fell apart and officially took their hiatus. Dropped from the roster of G-Unit Records by Interscope Records in 2009, Mobb Deep has not released any new music since 2006. However, the duo officially ended their affiliation after several Twitter posts from Havoc.
Mobb Deep has been making moves, however, focusing their attention on Realm Reality, their new artist. Taking some time off, Havoc and Prodigy reunited and have a new Mobb Deep album planned. However, their new album will come after the release of their solo albums.
Though they have made several appearances together over the past few months, the duo has yet to share a stage. All of this changed last night when Mobb Deep ran through some of their older tracks at the Paid Dues Festival in 2013.
