For various reasons, Mobb Deep is back at the forefront of the game. Recently, the group reunited after breaking up. A year ago, Havoc aired Prodigy out on Twitter and the duo officially took the year off before returning. While a reunion album is undoubtedly on the way, Mobb Deep had to focus on solo projects.
A couple weeks ago, Havoc released his 13 album. There is one more solo Mobb Deep album due, as Prodigy is up next. Since last fall, Prodigy has been promoting his upcoming album, Albert Einstein, which is produced by The Alchemist. Outside of the music, Havoc also has his own book in the works.
Sermon from Sermon’s Domain has been on an admirable run. He continues his rampage of interviews by sitting down with Mobb Deep. During this interview, Mobb Deep’s duo talked about their solo albums, the next group album that is due this summer, and Havoc’s upcoming book, The Silent Partner.
