For the past three years, Moneybagg Yo has been the hottest thing on the Memphis streets. His rise coincided with Yo Gotti’s last hit single being released. Now, it appears as if Moneybagg Yo is the man in Memphis, sharing that title with Blac Youngsta.
Moneybagg Yo has been making noise, since 2015, in his city. He is often giving back and the year of 2020 is no different. With the US under pressure from the president to go back to school, even with the cases of Coronavirus rising, Moneybagg Yo decided to help.
Hosting a Virtual Block Party, Moneybagg Yo presented his native county, Shelby County, with gifts. All of this is for the Shelby County School System. He has donated face masks and 10,000 other pieces of protective equipment to Shelby County Schools.
