Two men from Montana are facing serious prison time after a murdering an individual based on one of the man’s obsession with zombies.

“One of two Montana men charged with decapitating a casino patron had an ‘obsession with zombies’ and allegedly talked about eating the victim’s brain.
Donald Ray Cherry, 32, was charged with killing Myron Wesley Knight, 41, in October 2017.
Last week, authorities announced a new charge of intimidation against him for reportedly telling his girlfriend that she would be guilty if he went to prison because she remembered the incident incorrectly, according to the Billings Gazette.
During his girlfriend’s January visit, Cherry reportedly told her from jail: ‘I know you don’t remember right.’

He then winked at her before showing her the affidavit with her statement to police.
The girlfriend had said both Cherry and his co-defendant Jeffery Haverty, 34, killed Knight.
According to the new charging documents, Cherry told the woman: ‘The only thing that makes a witness is there’s two people saying the same thing.
‘So as long as we say the same thing, then that’s all that matters, OK?’
Prosecutors have also charged Cherry with tampering with evidence for allegedly hiding the victim’s severed head, body and belongings.
Last month, Haverty pleaded guilty to the murder after he was charged with the deliberate homicide in the death of Knight.

Prosecutors and Haverty’s attorneys say they will seek 50 years in prison under a plea agreement.
According to a recent police statement, Haverty reportedly told police that Cherry talked about eating Knight’s brain.
Cherry’s girlfriend had also made a similar claim, saying that Cherry ‘has a fascination/obsession with zombies’.
On the night that Knight was killed, he had just won $120 at the Montana Lil’s Casino on King Avenue West.
Authorities said Knight asked a casino employee to hold the winnings before leaving with the two men.
Police said Haverty robbed Knight of his remaining $6 and began decapitating him in a transient camp.
Authorities say Cherry took part in the decapitation after returning from a gas station.
Knight’s body was found three weeks later.”
