HHV Exclusive: Morris Chestnut talks “Rosewood” season two, new love interest, diversity, and more

morris-chestnut-hhvSince his major debut as Ricky on Boyz In Da Hood, Morris Chestnut went on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest names. Twenty-five years later, Morris Chestnut is in the midst of season two of his own show. It is “Rosewood,” the breakout series on FOX.

Debuting as the “Empire” lead-in, last year, “Rosewood” built such a strong audience that it now comes on Thursdays. Tomorrow, the show returns with a new episode. In between time, Hip-HopVibe.com managed to get on the set.

Michelle Madison represented Hip-HopVibe.com onset and she spoke with Morris Chestnut. Initially, she teased him, a bit, about the teasing that takes place on the “Rosewood” set, before getting into the details about season two. Morris would also talk about the chemistry playing alongside LeToya Luckett, his season two love interest, before speaking on the diverse cast.
