When people think of Krispy Kreme donuts, they think of the sweet taste, and them being there. Few people think of how they actually get there. At the actual physical Krispy Kreme locations, the donuts are baked and served to customers. Frequently, people express delight when the “hot light” is on, meaning donuts are being freshly baked. However, other stores who happen to serve Krispy Kreme have them sent on delivery trucks. One Alaskan driver had the impossible happen, when two bears robbed him.

Delivery drivers and truck drivers have two of the most thankless jobs. When it comes to the delivery workers, they have to transport, remove items from their trucks, and then battle the elements. Mail carriers and delivery people are often being chased by animals, both pets and wild. Meanwhile, delivery and truck drivers run a major risk of being robbed. These people travel at all hours and are mostly alone, making them sitting ducks.

In Alaska, a delivery driver was delivering Krispy Kreme donuts to a location. When he opened the back of the truck, two bears climbed into the back and ripped into the donut boxes. The bears, a mama bear and her cub, ate up plenty of donut holes, and pastries. Meanwhile, the delivery driver was doing his best to distract the bears. The brief second that the driver opened the door to the truck and went into the store was when the bears went in.
