However, Howard is now seeking assistance just to continue making ends meet. All of this is due to charges her son made on Roblox. When she sought a refund, Howard was only reimbursed $10.00.
Kayla Howard is a single mother to an autistic child. How she deals with the struggles and how she helps her son deal is with video games. As a result, her seven year old son often plays Roblox. Like most games designed for children, there are a lot of in-app purchases. Howard was aware of this, so she allowed her son to make purchases. However, there was no way she was anticipating this.
On Saturday, Kayla Howard was enjoying a regular weekend, but things quickly changed. Soon, she found herself on the end of a phone call nobody wants. Howard’s bank called to tell her she had an overdraft on her account. As she was preparing for Christmas, her son ran up a $897 bill from Roblox. Now, the company is reviewing the purchase, and Howard is seeking assistance to pay her bills, and to make Christmas happen, with less than a week to go.
