On Saturday night, Mozzy was in attendance for an afterparty in Wichita, Kansas at the nightclub City Nightz. This was after he performed at a nearby venue. His crew came with the Sacramento rapper as well, but a shooting quickly ensued, which left seven shot, and many trampled. Furthermore, one person went on to be in critical condition at a local hospital.

Mozzy ended up being detained and placed in handcuffs, as his potential role in anything wasn’t clear. However, more developments in this shooting are now being revealed.

According to TMZ, Mozzy faces no charges in this shooting, as his detainment was brief. However, one of the men in his crew has since been charged in connection to the shooting. Other members in the crew were also said to be detained, but are also not facing any charges.

This incident comes after Mozzy was released from prison in May. That was as a result of doing time for a 2021 gun case, when he served 10 months for. Last month, he went on to release his official first post-prison single, which was “10 Percent.” April also saw Mozzy release his new “Kollect Kall” EP.
