Muni Long’s “Made For Me” single goes platinum

This year, Muni Long’s “Made For Me” single has been one of the hottest R&B records out. This was initially released in September, but it went on to pick up a massive amount of momentum, shortly after 2024 began.

Furthermore, Made For Me has reached another major milestone. It is now certified platinum by the RIAA, in the US, per Chart Data. This comes after selling over 1 million units. It also peaked at number 20 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

On Tuesday night, Muni Long also put out the highly anticipated remix for Made For Me. This featured the legendary Mariah Carey, as fans went on to applaud her verse.

Muni Long initially soared to stardom in late 2021, with her breakout “Hrs & Hrs” single. That record peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100, and went platinum. Hrs & Hrs appeared on her “Public Displays Of Affection” EP, as well as the “Public Displays Of Affection” album, in the summer of 2022.
