Muni Long’s “Made For Me” single reaches gold eligibility
Muni Long has another major hit on her hands, with “Made For Me.” This record was initially released in September, but finally broke out as a viral hit, in early January. As a result, Made For Me is also now at a new peak of number 28 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, Muni Long’s Made For Me has reached another major milestone. It’s now at gold eligibility in the US. This comes as a result of selling over 500,000 units, per Chart Data. The video for the single on YouTube is also currently at over 12 million views.
Muni Long initially soared to stardom in late 2021, with her breakout “Hrs & Hrs” single. Like Made For Me, it went viral from social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. That peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100, and also went platinum. Hrs & Hrs also appeared on Muni’s “Public Displays Of Affection” album, in the summer of 2022. The remix eventually went on to be released in early 2023, which contained a huge feature from the legendary Usher.
