Mysonne explains Trinidad James confrontation on Twitter

It has been a pretty rough four months for New York hip hop. Just when it seemed the scene was getting it together, rappers from other cities have practically said New York isn’t ish. First, Kendrick Lamar shook New York hip hop and then Trinidad James did the same.

In defense of New York, Papoose, Maino, and Mysonne have been very vocal about the mistreatment. While Papoose did diss Trinidad James, Maino was the most-visible and vocal in that situation. It looks like he passed the baton to Mysonne, who recently confronted Trinidad James when he returned to New York City.

Their confrontation has caused quite the stir online and Mysonne explained his stance on Twitter to @PhillyTheBoss. Joking about the situation, he referred to Mysonne, playfully, as a bully. Mysonne responded with a bit of a rant explaining what went down without mentioning Trinidad by name.
