Mysonne talks death of Chris Lighty with Vlad TV [AUDIO]

This afternoon, the hip hop world received a major shock when news broke of Chris Lighty’s death. After numerous rumors, it was soon revealed Chris Lighty committed suicide. Over the course of his career, Chris Lighty worked with many of the biggest names in the game.

At one time or another, Chris Lighty worked with Nas, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Missy Elliott, and 50 Cent, along with many others. Another person who ended up working with Chris Lighty was Mysonne. One of the biggest mixtape rappers in history, Mysonne spoke about Chris Lighty’s death with Vlad TV.

Speaking over the phone, Mysonne spoke on the life and death of Chris Lighty. During the interview, Mysonne said Chris Lighty changed his life. Mysonne credited Chris Lighty, a fellow Bronx native, for putting him in the same room with many of the legends in the rap game. While Chris Lighty had corporate offices, drove a Merceedes, and wore suits, Mysonne also spoke on Chris Lighty’s time working on the streets, promoting music.
