During the mid-1990s, Mystikal became famous under Master P, signed to No Limit Records. Following his departure from No Limit, Mystikal would emerge as a major star. Actually, Mystikal was one of the first rappers to team up with Pharrell, gaining two hits for his trouble.

Mystikal would deliver “Shake It Fast,” produced by and featuring Pharrell. Then, he would drop “Danger (Been So Long),” with Nivea, the biggest hit of his career. Wasting no time, he returned with a follow-up in 2011, delivering “Bouncin’ Back,” before being sentenced to prison.

Being charged with rape, Mystikal was behind bars from 2002 until his release, in 2012. The game definitely changed, but Mystikal came back strong and maintained his innocence. However, he’s been quiet, on the music front, since the summer of 2012, but now he is facing more rape allegations, and is a wanted man.
