On Monday, Nas hinted at a sequel to his 2021 “Magic” EP with producer Hit-Boy coming soon. That came after including multiple magic wand emojis in a video posted to Instagram.

Meanwhile, Nas and Hit-Boy have just confirmed that “Magic 2” is coming this Friday. Furthermore, the official cover art was unveiled, as two splitting images of Nas are displayed.

The tracklist for Magic 2 hasn’t been revealed yet, but 50 Cent has since taken to Instagram to announce that he’ll make an appearance. The first Magic EP released on Christmas Eve in 2021 contained nine songs, including features from A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier.

The upcoming release of Magic 2 comes after Nas and Hit-Boy linked up once again in 2023, for the third installment of their “King’s Disease” album series. 17 new songs were released. All three King’s Disease albums have been released since 2020, as the first one won a Grammy for Best Rap Album, which was also Nas’ first Grammy win. The fourth installment has recently been teased by Hit-Boy, as well.
