Last year, Nas surprised the world with how good he was. In 2012, Nas set the standard, in terms of good music. At some times, Nas’ comeback overshadowed the efforts of the newer artists emerging. For his work in 2012, Nas is up for four Grammys at the upcoming 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
This morning, on “Live With Kelly & Michael,” Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan mentioned how Nas was unable to make it to the show. Michael Strahan expressed disappointment, as he had gotten ready to hear some music for today. During the show, Michael Strahan revealed Nas had been in the hospital.
Earlier this evening, Nas addressed the situation via Twitter. Mentioning he was out of the emergency room, Nas apologized to “Live With Kelly & Michael.” With Michael Strahan wanting him to perform “Cherry Wine,” Nas promised he would make it up to them at a later date.
